About the Author

Joel Harvey Schreck, L.Ac. (aka Dr. Shen) is a licensed acupuncturist with more than twenty years in private practice. During this time he has treated tens of thousands of patients. Schooled in Hong Kong and San Francisco, he is co-founder of the Shen Clinic and co-founder of the popular Dr. Shen line of natural medicines, available in natural food stores nationally. He is also an adjunct faculty member and lecturer at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, California.
